Do I need any programming experience to run this bot?
No. VanguardBOT is a desktop client — pick a script, hit Start. You never open code, install Python, or edit files. If you can install RuneLite, you can run this. Setup is a zip, a plugin click, and the launcher.
What are the odds of getting banned?
There are no hooks or injections for Jagex to detect. The only risk is how the character behaves in-game. We use AI to simulate human behavior — mouse paths from real player data, reaction times, phone pauses, and rest windows — so sessions don’t look like a click loop. No bot is 0% risk on shared public scripts. The safer you play (breaks, reasonable hours), the better it holds.
Why should I get a custom script when you already have paid scripts?
Custom scripts are only used by you. Nobody else has access to them, so they never show up as a widely-fingerprinted method. So far we have a 0% ban rate on custom scripts, which makes them the safest option we offer. Public scripts are still built for safety — custom is for when you want a method that exists only on your account, from $8.
What do I need installed?
Windows 64-bit, Jagex Launcher, and RuneLite. The first time you start a Vanguard session, log in through Jagex Launcher and click Play on Old School. After that it’s Control Session + the VanguardBOT launcher.
How long does setup take?
Most people are in-game with a script running in a few minutes: unzip, Install plugin, start Control Session, start VanguardBOT, pick a script. No extra accounts or paid runtimes.
Does it work with Jagex accounts?
Yes. That’s the normal path. You log in once via Jagex Launcher; VanguardBOT then runs on top of RuneLite. We don’t need your password.
Can I use it on more than one account?
Yes — one install on the PC. Each account still needs its own RuneLite login. Custom scripts stay tied to you, not to a single character.
